The high end rapid prototype techniques available to us are more typically associated with aerospace and motorsport applications, using sterolithography “SLA” methods and specialist materials. The advanced nature of rapid prototyping enables the manufacture of extremely complex, intricate parts that cannot even be considered through machining or die casting, opening up an entire new world of creativity!

The materials are typically polymer or “plastic” based, meaning parts have a useable strength and durability, and even rapid metals are now available for that real wow factor – opening up a world of previously impossible design that is now suitable for premium retail product use as well as one off concepts.
